Since 1975, the name of the company founder, the pharmacist and immunologist Dr. Jürgen Brinkmann, has been standing for a high-quality production of epicutaneous contact allergens for the pharmaceutical industry and for his personal entrepreneurial responsibility.

Since the end of the 80ies, the official name of the company based in the Westphalian town of Greven has been brial allergen GmbH.

Thanks to the combination of practice-oriented product development and extensive galenic experience, brial can offer a great variety of different epicutaneous contact allergens to its customers.

In conjunction with numerous pharmaceutical services, brial offers its epicutaneous contact allergens both to physicians on the basis of the scientific test recommendations as well as to industrial and commercial partners for distribution according to the current drug registration list.

Biographical dates

Born in 1948
Studies of pharmacy and pharmacology at the University of Münster, Kiel and Bonn.
Lecturer at the Bonn Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology until 1974.
Doctor's degree on pharmacology.
Expert for the Federal Ministry of Health in Berlin since middle of the eighties.
Registered independent pharmacist, scientist and associate of the company brial allergen GmbH based in Greven, Westphalia.

Co-author of the "Encyclopaedia of the contact allergens" published by ecomed in 1994.
Publication of "Quantum leaps in allergies", a book on immunology systems, in 1999.
Numerous other publications.
Winner of the 1996 marketing prize for his studies and work regarding the learning of social organizations.
Winner of the 1999 North Rhine-Westphalia IQS quality prize for his "Concept of the self-organizing company".
Winner of the 2000 marketing prize for the successful implementation of this concept.
