Our professional activities, human resources management and company philosophy are founded on the Biophilia postulate of the Jesuit Rupert Lay.
Hence, corporate responsibility and responsible leadership are the manifestation of our principle "management by participation". We therefore pride ourselves of having a corporate culture dealing with the inner and outer environment.
Our corporate image that has arisen from this over the years corresponds to the theory of the "self-learning organisation".  

The optimum quality of our pharmaceutical and material procedures are the result of our approved internal quality assurance that is in agreement with the principles of the TQM quality concept and the DIN-EN-ISO standards.

        The North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Transport has awarded its 1999 quality prize to the company brial allergen GmbH.delivery of the quality prize

This desirable prize is awarded to companies which have shown exemplary efforts with regard to company quality and customer closeness. quality prize 1999 The quality prize is considered as a key element of the North Rhine-Westphalian Quality Assurance Initiative (IQS e.V.) whose main objective is to support medium-sized companies to introduce and implement quality management measures - for their own sake and as an impulse for other companies.

"The self-organizing company"

The realisation of a "self-organising company" requires the introduction of a series of restructuring measures. This process takes several years with both the management and the staff being involved in it. The implemented measures comprise, among others, the personality support of each staff member. This includes the introduction to the perception training, behaviour analysis, epistemological and managerial aspects, communication and presentation training, conflict management, team work training and social ethics.
 
The basis for the personnel development of our staff members are clear and transparent working and operation processes.

The delayering of our hierarchical organizational structures which this has entailed brought about notable changes with regard to our company life: The internal decision-making became faster and a management team which performs all internal management tasks and represents our company was formed so that the General Manager mainly performs ceremonial tasks now. Thanks to the self-control within our management team, several, formerly necessary control measures have furthermore become needless and were thus abolished.
 
The decisive factor for a successful implementation of all these measures is the development of the communication and social behaviour between our staff members. This has been achieved by converting single offices into open-plan offices and reducing the team sizes. In addition, we carry out communication trainings in order to promote the self-critical analysis of organizational processes within our teams.

This way, a corporate identity is created where the uniqueness of each single staff member finds expression. In case of unexpected occurrences such as discontent, illness or loss of customers, this concept is analysed and, if necessary, modified.  

The brial quality handbook contains aspects which are valid for the whole company as well as rules which only refer to one department and includes the implementation of the internationally recognized GMP quality standard (Good Manufacturing Practice) in combination with the valid pharmaceutical rules and regulations. Thanks to this, both the staff and the management have more confidence and safety to concentrate on the personnel training.
